For 2023’s MTV Music Awards, we designed and executed a live AR voting system on Snapchat that used gesture recognition to allow users to vote simply by holding up one, two or three fingers. Winners received AR crowns in real-time during the show. This was a first-of-its-kind use of the tech and received huge engagement.
